* LongestRally: 8-player Groups→Knockout format — 3 group-stage matches + 1–2 knockout/consolation matches per tournament (each match = 1 set). Club (LK Tagesturnier, Spiralmodus): 2 matches per tournament, each best-of-2-sets with match tiebreak if 1-1; match tiebreaks not counted as full sets. LK entry fee assumed at €40 per tournament.

Arbeitsdienst (mandatory work duty)
3+ hours per year of facility maintenance — sweeping courts, groundskeeping. Penalty fee (~€12/hr) if you skip.

Court booking competition
Even as a member, prime-time slots (weekday evenings, weekends) are contested. Long-time members often get priority.

Winter court shortage
Most clubs have 8+ outdoor courts but only 2 indoor/dome courts Oct–Apr. Weekend slots nearly impossible.
